Seeking Final Year Interns for 2023

The Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure (DGSE), France's external intelligence agency, has launched a significant recruitment campaign targeting students in scientific fields. The agency is actively seeking final year interns for 2023.

With over 257,687 followers on LinkedIn, the DGSE is using various recruitment platforms to attract candidates. The agency aims to hire approximately 1,000 new employees each year, including both civilian and military personnel.

In particular, the DGSE is keen on recruiting candidates in the field of cybersecurity. By 2024, the agency plans to hire 800 individuals, including 150 specializing in cybersecurity.

Antoine, the DGSE's Administration Director, has stated that the agency's recruitment pace will remain steady until 2025. "We often hire our students after their internship," he emphasized.

Interested students are encouraged to explore the various internship opportunities available at the DGSE. While the agency does not post a comprehensive list of internships on their website, these can be found in the internship catalogs of various higher education institutions.

The DGSE offers competitive salaries and benefits to attract and retain top talent. Newly recruited employees can expect a gross salary of approximately €3,000 per month.

Beyond internships, the DGSE also provides a wide range of job opportunities. These include positions in logistics, which are essential for the smooth operation of the agency's missions.
